What I am working on....

First, A new Staci bag...



The newest Staci purse has a Swanky dark denim on one side) and a fantastic bold print fabric on the reverse. It is reverseable so you can choose your look every day! I am really loving it. I have been fine tuning this pattern for a while and I think I am pretty satisfied. Yay. I also used a magnetic snap closure for the first time. Very easy and looks very sharp.

Also....A hat idea. (and some insanely cute pics of Kai)

one of the custom Whimsy hats is all done! one more girly hat to go and then a sweet little yellow and blue boy hat for a friend's nephew. I'll post progress photos.

Kai models the pink hat beautifully, albeit a bit unwillingly.

My Thanksgiving Apron

I made an Apron just for Thanksgiving this year. When I found out I was hosting this year.....inspiration took over. I am sure this will now become my everyday apron.

I just adore the mood that an apron sets....fun, feminine, cozy, maternal, familiar, homey.....mom.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at home with our friends and family. An evening of food, wine, conversation, hugs, smiles, fireplace glow, and love. We are so thankfull.

i just sold two of the Whimsy hats, and have one custom request in the works. i really couldn't be more excited.

I will post some photos of what's in the works around here after I spend a couple days gorging and relaxing with my family.

a bib...

A fun little bib ....

Kai models it for us...

the bib has a fun cotton polka dot front with a practical terry cloth backing. the bananna applique reflects what the boys would always prefer to see on their tray.

my new favorite...

This is my new favorite bag. Of course, wichever thing I made most recently is usually my favorite. I sketched out the pattern for this and cut the pieces in under an hour because I was so inspired. I have been forming this one in my head for a while now and am releived to have it out.
It is soft and the perfect size, has a fun toile lining and 7 pockets. Love it!

thank you for all the emails offering kind words and lots of support! these things are so nice to hear.

here is another bag i am still working on. it is sewn, but i am not completely in love with the look...i feel like it needs somthing more. my friend lucia pointed out that i would probably like it more if it just wasn't white. I am pretty sure she is right. I may experiment with fabric dying or some stenciling. hmmmm.

the shop is open!

I have finaly been able to open up my Etsy shop! Etsy was down for upgrades for a few days, unfortunately those days coinsided with my "Launch" plans for the plumm shop. No worries though, it was all so that Etsy could be that much more wonderful. I heart Etsy.

I took the perfect bag to a baby shower and a birthday party over the weekend and got so many comments and compliments on it. I hope this is an indicator of things to come.

I have a few more bags and a hat in the works so check in at the shop often.

I just adore this hat....it it thick and soft and causes me to look forward to those cold rainy days just a little bit. It's perfect for our current gloomy weather.

The First One...

Will be this one. A beautiful Diaper/Yoga/Beach Bag. I just adore this fabric and am Loving the sweet polka dot lining. I will be adding this to my etsy shop as soon as they are back on line, Monday I believe. The link to the plumm shop is in the sidebar to the right. See you soon...
